Wat het jy gedrink? Ek is 'n boer en trots op my voorvaders. Sorry as
jou voorsate nie vir jou geleer het om liewers nie oor iets te praat
waarvan jy niks weet nie. Probeer bietjie die omgekeerde Apartheid van
vandag vir 'n slag. Maak nie saak hoe goed ek my werk kan doen die die
blackness vat my werk oor terwyl sy nie eers haar naam kan skryf nie.

Jy is nou bietjie eenogig.
Toegegee, ons weet van baie meer plaasmoorde, en die paar skuldiges wat
gevang was, was heel toevallig swart.
Daar word egter ook deesdae veel meer moorde gepleeg " as voorheen" onder
die swartes.
Daar sit nie net swart moordenaars in die tronk nie.
Wittes, bruines en Indiërs pleeg ook moord.
As mens nou moet veralgemeen, sou ek sê dat die meeste swartes wat moord
pleeg nie hul slagoffers geken het nie, maar die ander groepe se
moordenaars ken meestal hul slagoffers.
As ek nou so bietjie terugdink aan moordsake en skuldigbevindings wat die
nuus gehaal het die afgelope maand:
Twee wittes, een swarte met 'n lae intellek wat glo net gemoor het in opdrag
van sy baas ( selle verskoning wat soldate en "veiligheidspolisie" het ), en
een swarte - 'n eks-polisieman wat volhou hy is nie skuldig nie ( hy is
gister skuldig bevind en sal volgende maand gestraf word).
Die twee wittes was die baas van die plaas wat 'n werker, erg gewond maar
nog lewendig, in 'n leeukamp laat gooi het, en 'n oud- hoofrekenmeester van
die Rembrandtgroep wat sy vrou voor gaste by 'n aandete by hul huis vermoor
het.
Tans is daar nog 'n saak aan die gang - 'n wit vrou van Hollandse oorsprong,
wat saam met haar geliefde, 'n bruin, getroude, ekspolisieman-sekerheidswag-
haar man se dood beplan en uitgevoer het.
Ek het vir iemand wat in 'n tronk werk gevra, en hy het bevestig dat die
moordenaars in die tronk die bevolkingsamestelling verteenwoordig:)))
Daar - binne 'n kwessie van 'n maand 3 moordsake waarby wittes teenwoordig
is ( Een is al skuldig bevind en gestraf, een is skuldig bevind en die straf
moet nog gelewer word, en die derde staan nie 'n mosterdsaadjie se kans om
onskuldig bevind te word nie)- in teenstelling met " voorheen" toe daar
skaars 'n moordsaak met 'n wit beskuldigde een maal in 5 jaar was.

Dis hoekom ek vir iemand gevra het wat daar werk. Hy sit op die paroolraad,
en ek vertrou sy syfers meer as wat die staatsbeheerde Satistiek bekend wil
maak.
Ek het 'n neef wat in die tronk vir moord was, so natuurlik stel ek belang
in die regte syfers.
'n Feit is dat van die blanke moordenaars in die gevangenisse,
Afrikaans-sprekendes in die meerderheid is.

Dis interessant. Ek wonder as mens die pro-rata syfers in die hande kon
kry van wit moorde teenoor wit getalle en swart moorde teenoor swart
getalle? Ek neem maar aan dat die meeste swart moorde nie in die groot
koerante en ander nuus juis dekking kry nie. Daar was mos in die verlede
iets soos die RGN verslag wat hierdie statistieke aangedui het?

Vanoggend kry ons 'n oproep van ons dogter uit die
Krugerwildtuin (waar hulle toer onder die bekwame
toesig van 'n swaer van my en sy vrou.) Maar onder
al die opwindende nuus oor wat hulle alles sien en
ervaar, is die volgende stuk nuus: Hulle het ook
haar stiefdogter in Brantford hier in Ontario gebel
net voordat hulle ons gebel het, en hoor die volgende
nuus. Haar man is nie by die huis nie, want hy
het pas gehoor dat sy halfbroer in Orillia, ook in
Ontario, vermoor is en het gegaan om sy ma by
te staan. So onthou net, moorde vind oral plaas,
selfs in die "veilige" Kanada.
